The Beginning of Precisely Right
Precisely Right was originally started in 1991 by Pat Lynch, a coach at Mennen Arena in Morristown, NJ. The team grew and developed into a junior level team. That junior team was in existence until 2000 when Pat moved on to become a USFSA judge. Many of the skaters on the team graduated high school and went on to college; the younger ones went to other junior and senior level teams.
Precisely Right "Too" – The First Year
In 2000, a new younger and less experienced team was formed, Precisely Right Too. It had nine members and skated in the Youth Introductory division. The new team was coached by John Towill and assisted by Lynn Alberi. The hard work by these young skaters paid off when they earned a bronze medal at their last competition of that season.
Precisely Right "Too" Expands
In 2001 the team grew to 20 skaters forming two divisions, competing at the Preliminary and Intermediate levels. Cross-skating six skaters from the Intermediate division with the Preliminary division helped elevate the competitive level of the less experienced skaters. The teams entered 4 competitions in which they earned 6 medals.
The Next Two Years
In the 2002 / 2003 season, the team, returning to their original name Precisely Right, competed with 20 skaters at the Intermediate level. They earned 3 medals in that season.
In 2003 / 2004 they were back up to two divisions of 27 skaters. The Intermediate division had 19 skaters and the Preliminary division consisted of 8 very young skaters, brand new to synchronized skating. The Intermediate division, also comprised of many skaters new to the sport, proudly earned a bronze medal at the Lee Ann Miele Synchro Classic. The Preliminary division, spent most of the season building their synchronized skating skills. Their hard work paid off when they entered their first competition at the end of the season, performing their routine with pride and confidence.
The 2004-2005 Season

The growth of the Preliminary division continued with the team winning the silver medal at the Cape Cod Classic and the Bronze Medal at Lake Placid. The Intermediate team won medals at the Terry Conners Invitational, Lake Placid, and the Lee Ann Miele Synchro Classic.
