Precisely Right Synchronized Skating Team

 

The Precisely Right Synchronized Skating Team represents The Skating Club of Morris. Our home rink is the Mennen Sports Arena in historic Morristown, NJ. This year we will field teams in four divisions - Beginner, Pre Juvenile, Intermediate and Junior. Our teams will compete in USFSA sanctioned events throughout the country and perform in ice shows and benefit exhibitions.

Precisely Right strives for excellence both on and off the ice. Our young athletes balance considerable training and travel commitments with high academic standards. It is our passion to to inspire team skaters to achieve their highest competitive goals as well as to develop the skills of tomorrow's leaders.

Pre-Juvenile Team Wins 2010 U.S. Eastern Sectional Championship
Precisely Right 2010 Eastern Sectional champions 1/28/10 - Pre-Juvenile defeated 26 other teams in Lowell, MA. They won both their qualifying and final round flights to become the 4th Precisely Right Team to win a sectional championship. PR has now won sectional championships in 4 of the last 5 seasons. Congratulations "Pre-Jay"!
 
Junior Team Wins Pewter Medal at 2010 U.S. Eastern Sectional Championship - Advances to The U.S. National Championships
1/28/10 - Congratulations to Precisely Right's Junior Team. Their 4th place finish qualifies them to compete at The 2010 U.S. National Championship in Minneapolis, MN during the first week of March. They have an expanded practice and exhibition schedule through February as they work to improve their rankings. PR Junior Team
 
Intermediate Skates at Sectional Championships
The intermediate team continued to build toward the future at sectionals. They skated in front of a large and supportive crowd and although they may not have received the scores they were hoping for, they took home the valuable experience of competing against the best teams on the east coast. They will be on the road again in a few weeks in Harrisburg, PA for the Reflections Invitational.
 
Pre-Juvenile Team Wins at Colonial Classic
1/08/10 - Congratulations to Precisely Right's Pre-Juvenile Team. They won their third consecutive competition of the season at The Colonial Classic in Lowell, MA. The team skated with their usual energy and enthusiasm and were rewarded by the judges. Next up for them is the Eastern Sectional Championship where they will be tested against another large and competitive field of teams.
 

Junior Team Skates at World Qualifier Competition
1/08/10 - Precisely Right Junior skated against eight select junior teams from across the country at the recent Junior World Qualifier. The top two finishing teams represent team USA at the Synchronized Junior World Championships later this year. The PR team responded with their best skate of the season. Coaches and skaters were upbeat and enthusiastic. The team is working to continue its improvement at their next event, The U.S. Eastern Sectional Championships.

 
 
Intermediate Skates Clean at Colonial Classic
1/08/10 - Precisely Right's Intermediate Team skated a great program in Lowell, MA. The team performed with flow and grace in what was clearly their best outing so far this season. This young team has a lot to look forward to as they ready themselves for Easterns.
 
Pre-Juvenile Team Wins at Cape Cod & Terry Conners
1/12/09 - Precisely Right 's Pre-Juvenile Team won the gold medal at both The Terry Conners Competition and The Cape Cod Classic Competition. They skated clean and poised. This young group of skaters is off to a fast start and is improving quickly.

Beginner Team Ready To Skate at First Competition
1/08/10 - The first competition for these young skaters is coming up. They will be traveling to Harrisburg, PA in February to skate in the Reflections Synchro Invitational.

 
Fundraising Table and Dress Sale
at the 2010 Morris Open

Many PR team members will be competing and volunteering at this year's Morris Open Competition. The event attracts skaters from across the tri-state area. PR will be selling baked goods and pre-owned skating apparel. Stop by and support the team. Talk to team representatives and learn more about PR. Team Members to Train at Summer Camps
Precisely Right Team members will again be augmenting their training by attending camps and seminars over the summer. The synchronized camps will include The 2010 Synchronized Skating Training Festival in Newark, DE.

Precisely Right at 2009 National Championship 2009 National Championships
Congratulations to Precisely Right's Junior Team for their participation in the 2009 US National Championships. The event was held in Portland Maine and featured the top qualifying teams from around the country.
 
Miles for Matheny
Members of Precisely Right recently walked in support of the 12th annual "Miles for Matheny" at Liberty Park in Peapack. The goal of the event was to raise money to assist the center in providing services to all those in need.
